Text Box: What Is The Home Builders Association of Wayne & Holmes Counties ? We are a professional, non-profit, trade Association affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the Ohio Home Builders Association. Our goals are the promotion of new home construction and home remodeling, membership education, consumer education, and sensible regulations dealing with home construction. Our paramount responsibility is to our customer, our community, our country.

VALUE IN WORKING WITH HBA MEMBERS

 

Need a builder? A drywaller? How about plumbing fixtures or new carpet? What about a Realtor who’s familiar with new home construction in our area? How about a lender or title company? The Home Builders Association of Wayne & Holmes Counties (HBA) can refer you to members who offer the products and services you seek.

 

The HBA is an association of builders and people who provide services for the building industry. It is composed of approximately 210 member companies who believe that home ownership should be within the reach of every American family. Founded in 1975 and Chartered in 1984, the organization is affiliated with the National Home Builders Association (www.nahb.org) and the Ohio Home Builders Association (www.ohiohba.com).

 

The HBA is an active group dedicated to promoting and enhancing the professionalism of the building and associated industries in Wayne and Holmes Counties. This goal is achieved through strong support and representation of the industry in both the government and private sectors.

 

There are numerous advantages in buying a home from an HBA Builder, or products/services from an HBA Associate Member and below are just a few.

 

· HBA Members are on the cutting edge of their industry. They stay current on the latest changes in products, technology, building codes/regulations, legislation and consumer preferences.

· HBA Members promote and encourage the highest level of ethics and maintain the highest standards of personal and business conduct within the industry.

· HBA Members live, work and play in our community and have a stake in its quality of life. They are involved in numerous charity organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Wayne County Crippled Adults & Children Association, Wayne & Holmes Counties Career Centers, OSU/ATI, People to People Ministries and many others.

As the “Voice of the Housing Industry”, HBA members ensure that the “American Dream” of home ownership stays within the reach of the greatest possible number of people.
